An Horse
An Horse are a great band. I recently listened to their debut album Rearrange Beds for the first time since being completely obsessed with it last year. It still sounds just as fantastic. The band consists of Australians Kate Cooper and Damon Cox, who are currently writing new material for a follow up album after a year of touring in their own right as well as providing support for Tegan and Sara on their Canadian tour.
Their songs are so beautiful because of their simplicity. There’s no flashness, no pretence - just a guitar, drums, and great lyrics. And the occasional tambourine. Someone (I think randomly it may have been Edith Bowman) recently said that an album is only as meaningful as the time you dedicate to it. Rearrange Beds is definitely an album that I would recommend you spend some time with. You won’t regret it.
